Back to the images on … the Beaujolais Nouveau 2017!
The Embassy of France in Jamaica celebrated the traditional Beaujolais Nouveau at the French Residence with more than 250 guests: diplomatic corps, politics, local figures, representatives from French companies and institutions, students and international volunteers.
This opportunity was used to taste French cheese and delicatessen accompanied by a winegrower’s Beaujolais, while the keyboardist Rickie Sterling ensured the musical atmosphere.
On that same evening, the French Residence also hosted the opening of art exhibition showing from Amy Laskin’s paintings and Bernadette Matalon’s ceramics. Part proceeds from the sale of art will benefit two local NGOs: Mustard Seed and Eve for Life Jamaica.
