End of school year for the French students in Kingston

This month, the students from the school of Sciences Po at the University of Bordeaux in France, completed their eight month exchange program at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in Kingston.

Ambassador and Mrs. WIBAUX were eager to celebrate the end of the students’ university year, by welcoming them to a cocktail reception in their honour, at the Embassy on Tuesday, 7thMay. Also in attendance was Dr. Lisa VASCIANNIE, head of the department of political sciences, at the University of the West Indies.
This reception was the opportunity for the Ambassador to bid farewell to the students and wish them success in the continuation of their studies.

The France-Caribbean program of Science-Po Bordeaux, is a triangular cooperation among Science Po Bordeaux, the Université des Antilles (Faculty of law, Martinique) and the University of the West Indies Mona Campus. It allows the students to obtain a degree in each of the universities.
